Upon the release of my new single 'Sunshine Holiday' I decided to design a shirt that correlates nicely with the feel of the single. After some thought, I decided that a Wes Anderson-styled holiday image on the shirt would work well with the overall feel of the song.
As it gets colder here in the northern hemisphere, I like to wear this shirt with a thermal shirt or turtle-neck underneath. I like the fact that despite it being cold and grey in weather, I continue to sport this 'Sunshine Holiday' shirt, as it encapsulates the irony of my personality.
Conversely, I like the idea of wearing this shirt on the beach during summer. It's a bit like your dad donning a Hawaiian shirt on a beach holiday. It's a blatant celebration of being on vacation, and it amplifies that sense of freedom and calmness.
